Happy New Year and thank you for entering into this exciting 29th year of Sisterlocks! 
Dr. Cornwell created Sisterlocks and has dedicated her life to developing, teaching, and promoting this amazing lifestyle since 1993.   That’s 29 years of consistent hard work and dedication. Sisterlocks has evolved and people all over the world say her name with pride!

Every year that Sisterlocks grows is an opportunity to celebrate a Black woman who has demonstrated the must do, can do, and will do spirit that is an example for all who come to know her or know of her.

A word from Dr.  C

As I reflect on 2021, I get goosebumps at the accomplishments the Sisterlocks community made!  We managed to continue offering the Sisterlocks Blended Course in our hub locations and we are thankful for every attendee who attended. 

​We also thank you for your patience when 2021 wasn’t kind to us!  Even though multiple systemwide crashes negatively impacted our online Training Academy, we managed to accomplish every task and goal! ​

Twenty-nine years ago, I knew that being in business would mean more than having a product.  For me, it meant being an example of what we can do TOGETHER!  There’s no way I could do this by myself and thankfully, my biological sisters (Celeste and Carol) as well as my professional sisters, our Consultants, Trainees and Trainers and YOU – our community at large!  Everyone who supports the business by taking classes, wearing Sisterlocks, purchasing products, etc.  Your support directly contributes to the success and growth of Sisterlocks.  I appreciate you more than words can describe. 2022 Training Opportunities

The Blended Course includes 35 hours of intensive training spanning over approx. 4 weeks. (16hrs. Online lessons / 3hrs. Zoom Workshop / 16hrs. In-Person training.) The ONLINE activities teach the terminology and basic concepts of the Sisterlocks system. The mandatory Mid-Course Workshop on Zoom includes reviews and prep for week 2. The IN-PERSON training teaches specific techniques for producing fine, style-able locks. It also covers maintenance, troubleshooting, customer service and business management.
