2. WHEN?
Re-Certification is every 2 years, expiring on either June 30th or December 31st of the second year. The expiration date is printed in the lower left corner of your certificate. Check your most recent certificate to verify your latest expiration date.

3. ACTIVE? OR INACTIVE?
Once certified, you will remain "ACTIVE" as long as you re-certify at 2-year intervals from the expiration date on your most recent certificate. If you are late, you are considered "INACTIVE" and your name will be removed from our web registry for Certified Consultants and all privileges revoked.

- REINSTATEMENT: To re-activate your status you must FIRST take a Refresher Course (online, or at 4-Day class), and SECOND, file your re-certification documents.
- REGARDING FEES: If you are "inactive" you must pay the fee for the Refresher Course AND prepay your re-certification fees, plus any late fees that apply at the time you register. (Payment options visible at checkout.) Fees for the Refresher courses are fully refundable for up to 3-days prior to the class. Non-attendance is not a valid reason for a refund.

5. HOW TO RE-CERTIFY (mail-in)
PRINT OUT THE FORMS BELOW AS NEEDED
Sign and date where required and submit your complete re-certification package by mail only. You will need to include the FOUR documents indicated below along with your payment and current (NOT original) photos of your work on one (1) client that you have had for at least 1-year. Please verify that all documents are included and that you have provided all required information. Incomplete packages will be returned to you for completion, and this could delay your re-certification.

Please send a COPY of the original card (do not send the original) that reflects the client's history and shows that you have been keeping good records on the condition and progress of that client's hair. It may also show problems that have come up and how you dealt with them.
