WHAT IF SOMEONE IS NOT CERTIFIED? The most important questions to ask are, "Have you taken the Sisterlocks training course?" and "Do you have active status with the Home Office?" (Some individuals let a great deal of time go by and never certify, and therefore are placed on "inactive" status.) Since Sisterlocks is a trademark company, no unauthorized individuals can lawfully offer our system. Everyone who has undergone the Sisterlocks training program and has "active" status will appear either on the Certified list (above) or on the Official Sisterlocks Trainee Registry (below). Anyone who wishes to become certified must complete 3 qualifying customers, documenting their work with forms, photos and a questionnaire from the clients. If Sisterlocks is new in their area and there are not many potential clients, trainees may take a while to complete their certification. Use your judgement about whether the individual is striving to be the best professional they can be by working to become fully certified!
