Honestly, when I got my Sisterlocks in 2000, I thought they were a great way to stop the relaxer cycle and grow some long hair.  But later, I realized my Sisterlocks represent the type of freedom I was looking for in all aspects of my life.  Becoming a consultant has helped me obtain that freedom, and allows me to be a small part of  helping other women find theirs.
