Online Information Packet If you are considering Sisterlocks for yourself, you will want to look over the Information Packet items below. These pages will give you an idea of what to expect from the Sisterlocks process and from your Consultant. You'll also find useful information regarding other Sisterlocks products and services. Our policy is to encourage clients to gather as much information as possible BEFORE having Sisterlocks done. Sisterlocks is not a fad, or a short-term hairdo, so you will want to get a good idea of the commitment you will be making.  Also, in the world of hair care services, unfortunately, it is "buyer, beware!"  There are more and more people out their claiming to be Sisterlocks representatives, or claiming to have invented something or other that is just as good. Take the time to learn as much as you need to know about the real Sisterlocks.  Make sure you understand what you can expect from a competent, ethical practitioner. An informed client is the best assurance of satisfaction!  Don't accept less than you deserve! Here are the items you may want to view and copy from your own printer:

	Sisterlocks is offered as a package of three visits: 1.  The Sisterlocks Consultation 2. The Locking Session (may be divided into two to reduce client's sitting time) 3.  The follow-up retightening session (generally done after 2 shampooings or so)

	Sisterlocks doesn't look the same oneveryone, because textures vary quite a bit.  At the Sisterlocks Consultation, your Consultant will give you a number of "Sample Locks" that you will live in through about 2 shampooings.  Your Consultant will see how your locks behave, and use this information to make the best choice of locking patterns, locking sizes, and ongoing care instructions.  DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!  You will want to make sure your Consultant is making the best choices before you spend the money to have your entire head locked
	Make sure your Consultant (or Trainee) is hooked into the Sisterlocks network.  Check for their name on our online registries (see below).  Also, make sure they give you your official Customer Starter Kit with your Sisterlocks Package.  This contains the proper shampoo for starting the locks, along with additional information and tips for ongoing care.
